If you are facing an unexpected pregnancy you do not need
accusations, lectures or simplistic advice to make a quick decision
and "get on with life". You need compassionate
and practical help. You have a right to know what your
options are and what help is available. Ultimately, you will
have to decide what choice you are willing to live with - no one
else has the power to do this for you. The Pregnancy Care
Centre understands this.
The Centre's purpose is to provide realistic alternatives to abortion
to women facing an unplanned pregnancy. We understand the
difficulties involved in an unplanned pregnancy are usually multi-layered
and complex. We are staffed with trained volunteers who will
provide you with clear and accurate information on parenting, adoption
and abortion. The information provided is not intended as
a substitute for professional counselling. We are not a 'medical
clinic' and do not offer medical advice, counsel or services.
All of our services are free and confidential. Any information (your
name, address, etc.) you wish to give will be kept confidential.
The Pregnancy Care Centre believes you are responsible for your
own decisions. We do not perform or refer for abortions. We do provide
you with the necessary information to make an informed choice.
